Three-Day Cleanliness Drive
Event Report
BGS Institute of Nursing Sciences organised a three-day Cleanliness Drive. Students and faculty members cleaned classrooms, laboratories, corridors, gardens, and other campus surroundings. The activity emphasised personal responsibility and collective effort in creating a safe, healthy learning environment.
Objectives
The drive aimed to promote a clean, healthy, and hygienic campus; encourage environmental responsibility; foster teamwork and civic sense; and create awareness of the importance of cleanliness to health and well-being.
Outcomes
The drive resulted in a cleaner and more hygienic campus, increased awareness of environmental sanitation, strengthened teamwork and community participation, and encouraged cleanliness as a daily practice.
Sustainable Development Goals
The programme supported SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 13: Climate Action by promoting healthy surroundings, environmental awareness, and responsible waste management.
