Event Report
A Poster Presentation Competition was organised to encourage students to showcase their creativity, research skills, and understanding of contemporary issues through visual presentations. A total of 22 students participated in 11 groups. Each group presented a poster on selected themes and explained its ideas before the judges and audience.
Objectives
The competition aimed to develop students’ research, analytical, communication, and presentation skills; provide a platform for innovative ideas; enhance teamwork; and promote awareness of important social, environmental, and technological issues through effective visual communication.
Outcomes
The competition enhanced participants’ confidence, creativity, and critical thinking. Students demonstrated teamwork and presentation skills while gaining deeper knowledge of their topics. The event fostered healthy competition, knowledge sharing, and concise communication of complex concepts.
Sustainable Development Goals
The competition supported the Sustainable Development Goals by promoting quality education, innovation, awareness, and responsible citizenship. It aligned particularly with SDG 4: Quality Education.
