A research workshop on “How to Write a Research Paper and Publish in Scopus Journals” was conducted on 7 May 2026. The session was facilitated by Dr. Prashantha Kallapla, who provided comprehensive guidance on scientific writing, manuscript preparation, journal selection, publication ethics, and strategies for publishing research articles in Scopus-indexed journals. The workshop served as a valuable platform for enhancing research knowledge and scholarly writing skills among the participants.
Objectives
The primary objective was to develop participants’ understanding of research paper writing and the publication process in reputed Scopus-indexed journals. It aimed to strengthen knowledge of research methodology, manuscript structure, academic integrity, citation practices, and publication requirements to promote quality research output.
Outcomes
The workshop enhanced participants’ knowledge and confidence in preparing and submitting research manuscripts. Attendees gained insights into selecting appropriate journals, avoiding predatory publications, adhering to ethical standards, and improving academic writing. The session motivated participants to engage actively in research and scholarly publishing.
