The Annual Sports Meet 2026 was conducted on 17 and 18 August 2026 at the BGS Institute of Nursing Sciences Ground, with enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members representing three teams: Zephyr, Strikers, and Astra. The programme commenced on 17 August 2026 at 9:30 AM with a formal inauguration, marked by the release of balloons, followed by an energetic flash mob and the unveiling of the “PARVA” banner. The three participating teams presented vibrant dance performances, creating an energetic and enthusiastic atmosphere for the sporting events. The sporting competitions were conducted over two days. Day 1 commenced with the 100-Metre Relay and Kabaddi, followed by Throwball and Shot Put during the afternoon session. On Day 2, the competitions continued with Kho Kho, Tug of War, and Football. The final matches were witnessed by the Honourable Vice Chancellor of Adichunchanagiri University (ACU). Faculty members also actively participated in the sporting events, further encouraging and motivating the students. The two-day event was efficiently monitored and coordinated by Mr. Ashok, Physical Educator, Bhakthanatha Higher Primary School, who served as the referee and ensured the smooth and fair conduct of the competitions. The Annual Sports Meet provided students with valuable opportunities to demonstrate speed, strength, agility, endurance, coordination, strategic thinking, communication, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The programme successfully promoted active participation, healthy competition, discipline, leadership, team spirit, and mutual cooperation, thereby contributing to the physical, social, emotional, and holistic development of the students. Overall, PARVA 2026 was conducted successfully, providing a vibrant platform for students and faculty members to come together, celebrate sporting talent, and foster a strong sense of unity, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
